Creating a test paper in Native interface

After confirming the existence of lecturer in the account, they can navigate to Turnitin and login with the credentials created, or use the ‘Forgot your password?' option if they cannot remember their credentials / only used Moodle for Turnitin in the past.

Testing your paper

The first step will be to create a class in the account to test your paper in.
This can be done with the green ‘Add Class’ button highlighted below.
Enter a class name and other requested fields. The contents will not make much difference, however some fields will need to be unique.

On the next page, click ‘Add Assignment’
Click Paper Assignment and Next step.
Very important: The steps below must be followed to ensure that papers are not stored in the Turnitin database.
After setting an Assignment Name, click the ‘Optional Settings’ expandable and ensure that the settings reflect the same as below.
Pay special attention to the circled setting- ‘Submit papers to: No Repository'
Once the assignment is created. You can then submit your paper as shown below.
Once submitted, the similarity report will be available.
