Moodle - Student Login

Dear Student,

You can now login to Moodle to access your registered courses for the academic year 2024-2025 (available from August 23rd, 2024) by using the following link https://moodle.uog.edu.gy/login/index.php

Moodle 2023/2024 can be accessed at: https://moodle-legacy.uog.edu.gy/2023/login

NOTE: You must have a submitted registration for the relevant academic year to gain access to Moodle for the same academic year. Please ensure your registration in SRMS is “Submitted”.

Note. Moodle passwords are handled separately from SRMS passwords.

How can I log in?

Please see the two options below.

  1. You can CREATE/UPDATE your Moodle credentials in the SRMS.

i. Login SRMS (current student profile) using your USI and Password at University of Guyana - Current Students Login - Turkeyen Campus or University of Guyana - Current Students Login - Berbice Campus depending on your current campus.

ii. Click the Manage Account as indicated below.

 

iii. You will be presented with the following interface.

 

 

iv. To change password for Moodle, navigate to the ‘Change Moodle Password’ box.

 

Proceed to enter your Current SRMS Password => Set a New Moodle Password=> and then confirm the new Moodle password. Be sure to follow and enforce the password security best practices to prevent malicious users from gaining access to your accounts.

If the ‘Change Moodle password’ box is not visible, then your Moodle account does not exist and you should ensure that you have submitted your registration.

 

OR

 

  1. You can set your password for Moodle using the 'Set up your Password' as depicted below.

 

 

After you click the “Set up your Password” you will be asked to enter your username (USI) or email address that was entered in SRMS into the search box to locate your account in the database. If a match is found, an email will be sent with the instructions on how to reset the password. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder.
